Terms of Services
These terms apply when you use the CRACKEDCAT website and its game-controller features. The website is operated by CRACKEDCAT (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Using CRACKEDCAT
You may use the site for its intended purpose: joining and participating in CRACKEDCAT game rooms and viewing the site’s public pages. You are responsible for activity from your device and for the display name and answers you submit.
Do not:
- break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
- submit abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, deceptive or otherwise harmful material;
- attempt to access another person’s account, device, room or data without permission;
- interfere with the site, game, database or other users, including through automated requests, malicious code or attempts to bypass security controls; or
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the site except where the law permits it or we have agreed in writing.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the game or our systems.
Your contributions
You keep any rights you have in content you enter. You give us permission to process and display your name and game contributions to the extent reasonably necessary to operate the room and game. Do not submit confidential information or content you do not have permission to use.
Our content
Where we own or license the CRACKEDCAT name, game, website design, code, graphics, audio or other site materials, those rights remain with their respective owner. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. Some linked services and materials belong to third parties.
Availability and changes
The site may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, faults, internet conditions, game-session changes or third-party service interruptions. We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the site. Where practical, we will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Third-party services
The site relies on Supabase and loads software from esm.sh. It also links to Instagram, Discord, YouTube and Steam. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services that are outside our reasonable control, but nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law where doing so would be unlawful.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, misuse of the site, or third-party systems. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Purchases
The current website does not offer products, subscriptions, paid game access, merchandise, donations or other paid services for purchase. If purchasing is added later, applicable price, payment, delivery, cancellation and refund information will need to be provided before a transaction, without excluding rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
